What is Lavalink, and why do I need hosting for it? +

Lavalink is a standalone audio sending node written in Java that handles the audio processing, decoding, and socket streams for Discord music bots. By hosting Lavalink on dedicated high-performance hardware, your bot code does not have to execute complex media parsing, preventing sound lag, voice cracking, and CPU bottlenecks on your main bot container.

How long does it take for my server to activate? +

Deployment is 100% automated and instant. As soon as invoice verification is complete, your Pterodactyl container login credentials are emailed to you, allowing you to upload your files, manage dependencies, and boot your server immediately.

Can I use custom Lavalink plugins (e.g. YouTube sources, Spotify)? +

Yes. All our Lavalink plans allow you to customize the `application.yml` config file and upload `.jar` plugins (like custom video/audio decoders) directly into the `plugins/` subdirectory of your Lavalink node server.

What node regions do you offer? +

We currently deploy bot and Lavalink nodes in the United States, Germany, and Singapore to guarantee low latency nodes closest to your Discord voice channel gateways.
